Youth Stage + Children’s Area

CHILDREN’S AREA

The RFF offers a fantastic children’s area with crafts and activities for children of all ages. The area runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Please park your strollers responsibly! In the Craft Tent, get ready to become one with the Creepy Crawlies! This year's crafts are inspired by the spiders, butterflies, dragonflies, and ladybugs of the world. Instructed crafts include popsicle stick insects and popsicle stick spider webs. You will also be able to get ready for the Parade of the Creepy Crawlies by creating a bug mask disguise or accessorize by making a fancy “bug ring”.

YOUTH STAGE

Join us at our Youth Stage for music and dance for the young and young at heart! Bop to tunes made by the The Whats and burgeoning musicians from camp GRR! Learn about traditional kulintang gongs with Pantayo! Engage with community-based theatre care of Burnt Sienna Boulevard and creative dance with FadaDance! Shimmy to family-friendly music with special guest artists SoCalled and Last Birds! For a schedule of artists performing at the Youth Stage see pp. NUMBERS HERE.

PARADE OF CREEPY CRAWLIES

Break away from the Sunlit Stages and stretch your legs (and hearts) at one of our parades! Meet at the Youth Stage before the parades that leave at the area 3:40 p.m. on Saturday or 4:35 p.m. on Sunday for a jaunt about the festival site. We invite you to dress up as your favourite insect, spider, worm, or bug in celebration of our ‘Web of Life’ theme! Festival artists will lead the way!
