Thank YOU all for making the 51st RFF so much fun!

re-dreamings: what does a thousand-sided dream sound like?

When we packed up in 2019, none of us could imagine we wouldn’t be opening our site storage bins until 2022. We joked a lot about what we would or wouldn’t find. Once it set in that the summer festival was really happening, we were eager, excited and, not going to lie, a little anxious. We can now report that the storage bins were not too bad inside and that the hula hoops are still in working order.

Each one of this year’s artists played their big, beautiful hearts out on every stage and with every performance. We are so grateful they helped us return in such a powerful way. Our volunteers and production teams have worked tirelessly preparing and planning for months. Discussing all types of plan B’s, C’s and D’s that we might have had to try - thank you for your time, energy and flexibility. We have never existed without you and could not exist without you. To our sponsors and funders who were our biggest cheerleaders and supporters throughout the past few years - we finally did it and with so much help from you, thank you for getting us here! To our community partners and vendors who add so much joy and life to our site, we appreciate the work you do and conversations you start not just at our festival but in all you do. You provided countless opportunities to explore, create and connect as individuals and as a collective, thank you.

To our audience and community, thank YOU for showing up and uplifting our fatigued event planning souls! It felt so good reuniting with old pals and connecting with new ones. We love you, we appreciate you, we can’t wait to do it all again next year!

The thousand-sided dream is this poem of a festival we redreamed together.
