Regina Folk Festival and SaskMusic invite you to celebrate Indigenous History Month with a special concert curated by multimedia artist, researcher, and musician, Aurora Wolfe! Featuring LJ Tyson, Sunset Embassy and Aurora Wolfe.

LJ Tyson
LJ Tyson is a singer-songwriter from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He has used his identity as inspiration for creating lyrics and melodies. LJ has had music played across Canada and beyond. His latest release Home On A Rainbow was critically acclaimed and awarded a prize from SOCAN TD Indigenous Songwriter Awards.
Sunset Embassy
Sunset Embassy kicks out urban prairie rock jams with sounds from the 80's/90's vibing on today's feelings. Pulling inspiration from artists such as The Breeders, Patti Smith, and the Indigo Girls, Sunset Embassy is fronted by two Indigenous women: Anishinabe guitar player and songwriter Jori Cachene (she/her), and Cree vocalist Sophie Littlechief Carteri (she/her), and is rounded out by three queer musicians: bassist Charity Marsh (she/her), keyboardist Jaecy Bells (she/her), and drummer Collette Parks (they/them). Sunset Embassy seeks to diversify the music scene in Saskatchewan and beyond.
Based in Treaty 4 Territory aka Regina, Saskatchewan, and formed at GRR! music camp in 2019. Sunset Embassy has played at Regina Folk Fest, Cathedral Village Arts Festival, and has opened for Megan Nash, Dump Babes, and Cupids Heart.
Aurora Wolfe
Aurora Wolfe is a multimedia artist, researcher, and musician of Cree (Beardy’s and Okemasis) and Scottish descent. Her work centers on the relationships between Indigeneity and institutions, teasing out stories that have been overshadowed by the dominant colonial narrative. She holds an interest in exploring dynamic relationality and creating art that generates acts of kinship with the past, present, and future. The leader and songwriter of Dump Babes, she has just released her third album 'Known Liar' and is currently completing a Master of Fine Arts at the University of Saskatchewan.
