One hot summer night MELODNA visited the Regina Folk Festival office. There was mood lighting and laughs paired with fire vocals over some hard-hitting tracks. Parental advisory: strong language

Crafted in the flat lands of Regina, Saskatchewan is emerging independent artist MELODNA. With the success of her debut EP “KEEPSAKE” released February 2021, she kicked off her first year with noteworthy performances and industry praise. From multiple interviews to shows, to out-of-province opportunities, this artist has been stealing the hearts of the prairies and is coming for more. MELODNA continues to work with multi-talented Walter Ernest as her mixing engineer at Blue Door Recording Studios. This artist is set to perform at multiple festivals, in and out of town. Refusing to submit to one genre, MELODNA continues to downpour her music creations anywhere she can.

MELODNA will be performing at the Regina Folk Festival in Victoria Park on our Sunlit Stages August 6 & 7, 2022. This micro-concert was filmed as part of the RFF's online series 'Offerings' on June 30, 2022. Offerings is made possible through the support from Canada Council for the Arts.
