Regina Folk Festival Media Policy

Thank you for your interest in covering our events. To be added to our press contact list; to book interviews with the Artistic Director; or to request hard copy press kits, media passes, further media information, or advance copies; contact us or call (306) 757-0308. Please share any coverage produced about the festival or our concert series with us! We'd love to see or hear it. 

Please note, each event of ours offers a limited number of media passes – even if you apply by the deadline, space is not guaranteed. Completed Media Accreditation Forms must be signed by editors, assignment editors, or producers. 

Priority will be given to:

  • Daily newspapers

  • Magazines, weekly and bi-weekly newspapers

  • Local radio and television affiliates

  • Approved and well-established websites

  • Wire services (CP, Reuters, etc.)

  • Professional bloggers or influencers with an established social media following

Pre-event

Interviews with artists and festival staff can be arranged for pre-festival coverage. To arrange this, please contact us. Make your requests early. Give the Media team as much advance notice as possible so we can arrange your requests. 

On-site

During the event, all performer interviews are arranged through our Media Team. Media needs to be pre-approved to come onto our site at this time due to health and safety policies.

The Regina Folk Festival reserves the right to revoke credentials for unprofessional behaviour or conduct. Credentials are not transferable.
