RFF Welcomes a new Executive Director!

April 20th, 2020

The Board of Directors is proud to welcome Josh Haugerud to the Regina Folk Festival team as our new Executive Director.

Josh Haugerud grew up in rural Saskatchewan and has spent the majority of his adult life in Regina.  Josh’s education includes a bachelor's degree with majors in Political Science and Women's and Gender Studies from the U of R.

Since then, he has been fortunate to build experience in his career and through volunteering with organizations like Regina Downtown Business Improvement District, St. John Ambulance, Innovation Credit Union, and most recently as Executive Director of Regina Community Radio.

Josh has worked extensively within Non-Profit organizations and has become a subject matter expert on all things Non-Profit and Non- Profit Board of Directors. While working with amazing teams at St. John Ambulance and Regina Community Radio, Josh’s teams were able to win the Paragon Award (Regina Chamber of Commerce) for Community Involvement and the Saskatchewan Music Award with Regina Community Radio for Industry Achievement.

Josh likes to spend his time with his son Logan (5) and girlfriend Dee, playing music with different local projects, reading, volunteering, and gaming.

Josh is very excited to join the Regina Folk Festival team and to work with the team of strong volunteers, staff, and Board to carry out the great work the festival does.
