Festival Volunteer Benefits & Expectations
Regina Folk Festival Volunteers who have committed to the minimum requirement of hours will receive:
-A festival wristband granting access to the Friday, Saturday and Sunday Mainstage shows
-An official RFF Volunteer T-Shirt
-Free access to Sunday Volunteer After-Party
-Exclusive access to the Volunteer Lounge on site
-Member status of Regina Folk Festival Inc. for one year from the festival date
-Many opportunities to make amazing new friends and contribute to a beautiful community event
Our volunteers represent the Regina Folk Festival and what it stands for. As a volunteer of the RFF, we ask you:
-To always represent the RFF in a positive way
-To treat the staff, volunteers, performers, and the public with respect and kindness
-To acknowledge your position of trust and to not take advantage of any money or property of the RFF, its sponsors, partners, artists or vendors
-To wear attire appropriate to the task you are performing on behalf of the RFF
-To fulfill the tasks and time commitment as agreed with your Team Leader
-To refrain from swearing while representing RFF
-To observe our zero tolerance policy for any form of discrimination or abuse
-To refrain from use of drugs and alcohol while on duty. Volunteers consuming alcohol when off duty must change out of their volunteer t-shirt
Volunteer Time Commitment
Regina Folk Festival Volunteers are expected to work a minimum of 15 hours over the course of the weekend (or 20 hours for pre-festival volunteers) in order to receive a free weekend pass. By accepting a volunteer position you agree to adhere to the preceding terms. Failure will result in revocation of benefits and potential invoicing for the cost of your weekend pass and Volunteer T-Shirt.
We also ask all new volunteers to help out with our greening initiatives. Every new volunteer will do one shift on our Environment crew.
