REGINA FOLK FESTIVAL MEDIA POLICY:

Thank you for your interest in covering the Regina Folk Festival. To be added to our press contact list; to book interviews with Artistic Director Sandra Butel, or to request hard copy press kits, media passes, further media information, or advance copies; email info@reginafolkfestival.com or call (306) 757-0308. Please share any coverage produced about the festival or our concert series with us! We'd love to see or hear it.

Please note, the festival offers a limited number of media passes - even if you apply by the deadline, space is not guaranteed. Completed Media Accreditation Forms must be signed by editors, assignment editors, or producers. 

Priority will be given to:

  • Daily newspapers
  • Magazines, weekly and bi-weekly newspapers
  • Local radio and television affiliates
  • Approved and well-established websites
  • Wire services (CP, Reuters, etc.)
  • Professional bloggers or influencers with an established social media following

Pre-festival:

Interviews with artists and festival staff can be arranged for pre-festival coverage. To arrange this, please  email Media Team Leader, Deb Young. Make your requests early. Give the Media Team as much advance notice as possible so we can arrange your requests. 

On-site:

During the festival, all performer interviews are arranged through our Media Team. To contact the Media Team, please stop by the Information Booth located on the south side of the cenotaph in Victoria Park during festival weekend.

The Regina Folk Festival reserves the right to revoke credentials for unprofessional behaviour or conduct. Credentials are not transferable. 

Deadline to apply for media accreditation is August 1, 2019.
